Following the fitting of a fuel pressure regulator and the subsequent track time at Darley Moor the team are pleased that the fuelling problems seem to have been sorted. The meeting itself went well with the team with a 4th in race 1, an 8th in race 2, a dnf in race 3 due to a coil wire coming off! and an 8th in race 4. The gearing choice was possibly not ideal and Grant is still suffering from pain in his right arm / wrist as a result of the Brands accident a couple of years ago.
A quick thank you to everyone who popped in and said hello, to all the CRMC marshalls, our fellow competitors, Mike Richards for an excellent chassis and Richard Darby for his ongoing support with the engine.
There are a few things to sort ready for the next meeting which will be at Cadwell Park which is a circuit the team enjoy and suits their riding style.
The Beezumph Rally was a great weekend with loads of triples to see and hear! We had a great time riding the beautiful Anglesey Circuit and although we are still having fuelling issues the outfit is getting better and better with each session. There is some work to do ready for the next CRMC round at Darley Moor on the 13th & 14th August.
Well the team (minus Grant -due to work commitments) are off to TTS dyno at Silverstone tomorrow. The main objective is being to setup the new amal carbs that have been ordered to replace the previous worn out ones. Hopefully the team will leave with a good setting and some good dyno runs
