Welcome to the home of Triplebrew Racing. We are a team who race a Classic Sidecar powered by a Triumph Trident T150 engine.

Please have a good look around our site as there is lots to explore.

Ian and Grant have been involved with Classic Racing for over 15 years having previously marshalled at CRMC race meetings for over 10 years. As a result of watching the sidecar numbers decrease they decided that they would like to have a go and help to keep sidecars racing with the CRMC.

  • Snetterton- no show!

First of all an apology to everyone following us about our non show at the CRMC Snetterton meeting on the weekend of 8th and 9th of October . This was due to Ian (and Geoff) being involoved in a serious collision on the evening of thursday 7th October whilst on ther way to get fuel etc for the weekend. Following the incident the van and all its contents (sidecar, leathers, tools, camping gear etc etc) were seized by the Police as part of the accident investigation.

The team were able to collect the sidecar and contents from the van on Friday 14th October and then travelled upto the Classic Bike Show at Stafford.

The teams first sidecar was purchased in 2005 and a lot of work was carried out to make the sidecar race ready.

2011 is a very exciting year for the team as in May they took delivery of their brand new chassis built by Mike Richards of MR Equipe. Although a new chassis the outfit fully conforms to the eligibility rules set out by the CRMC and runs on 10" wheels as was used in the period. The engine is the teams well proven 1972 Triumph Trident T150 expertly prepared by Richard Darby of 3D Motorcycles.

You can find out more details about the new outift elsewhere on the site.
